Explorations with Gauri

Releasing yourself from your “to-do’s,” you will gradually calm, stretch, strengthen and release the body.  This class emphasizes building vast internal and external awareness and is recommended for anyone regularly exploring yoga for more than one year and/or anyone currently or previously enrolled in Embodi Yoga’s 230 hour program.

Introduction to Embodiment – step 1

Rejuvenate your whole being by understanding your body-temple.  This class teaches basic poses in union with muscle and bone alignment.  With this knowledge, you are able to practice safely, understanding the steps and stages your body flows through to touch its beauty and perfection. This class is the ideal place to start your practice of “Yoga with Gauri.”  As beginner or practitioner with a few years of daily experience, this class will enrich you.  This is also an excellent refresher for graduates of the Embodi Yoga 230 hour program.

Introduction to Embodiment – step 2

Open to a vast new level of body-mind wisdom by understanding your organs and how they can move you.  Organ consciousness slows and calms the mind, while opening you to deep states of peace and strength.  This class uses flowing movement to awaken the richness of organs and is suitable for anyone who has immersed themselves in “step 1”, or has been enrolled in Embodi Yoga for 7 or more months.

Candle Light Vinyasa Flow – level 2

This practice lights and warms the inner being. Set to music and lit only by candles, this soulful vinyasa class builds heat, strength and flexibility while allowing the mind to flow into an exuberant state of meditation by traveling inward. You are guided to align with your physical form as well as the subtle body (chakaras). This class is open to regular practitioners with 1 or more years of experience.

Yoga Express – Level 1-2

This one hour class is designed to support you even on your busiest days! The class includes a vinyasa style asana practice, opening and closing with centering practices that allow you to feel you have taken time for the most important activity of your day, supporting yourself. This practice can take the edge off those “crazy” days. Give yourself a hug, the hug of Yoga Express! This class is open to regular practitioners with 6 months or more experience.

Class Fees: $15.00 drop in or a Session Card @ 10 sessions (over a max of 12 weeks) for $101.00
